Full Job Description Duties/Responsibilities:

Receive delivery orders from the dispatch team and follow assigned routes to reach construction sites. Work closely with the dispatcher to coordinate delivery schedules and any changes in delivery orders. Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of concrete materials and equipment to the specified locations. Obeying and following applicable traffic laws Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving. Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules Reporting defects, accidents, and violations Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.) Loading and unloading of materials Interacting with field foreman in a professional manner Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports Recording cargo deliveries Verifying loads for accuracy Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies. Safely loads, transport, and unload concrete materials and equipment at construction sites. Notify the Mechanic shop when equipment needs serviced or repaired. Load and unload cargo not limited to, but including light and heavy construction equipment and concrete, forming equipment , ensuring the security and safety of supplies/equipment. Ensure Equipment are refueled and in working order. Inspect forms and items for defect for repair. Put things away as needed at the shop to keep cleanliness and orderliness Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Attention to detail required. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of Construction Jobs, equipment and needs. Be able to run a verity of construction equipment for loading and unloading.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification 2 year CDL-A Experience required Valid CDL A Qualified DOT physical

Metcon Shop, 5150 Webster Street, Dayton, Ohio & our jobsites can be found throughout the Miami Valley area.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate and drive trucks to deliver supplies/equipment to various jobsites. Follow dispatch schedules and communicate with the dispatch team. Load and unload cargo not limited to, but including light and heavy construction equipment and concrete, forming equipment , ensuring the security and safety of supplies/equipment. Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies. Must have a CDL A and clean driving record.

Starting Pay :

The starting pay for this position ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, dependent on experience. This rate is subject to review based on performance and tenure.

Schedule:

Monday- Friday, 7am start time and end time can vary depending on the workload and how busy the schedule is, requiring flexibility in working hours. But typically, can be 40-45hrs weekly.
