Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Company Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, transporting freight across long distances while ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely deliveries. We have various types of flatbed freight but mostly we have dedicated low touch hook and go loads weekly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills and contribute to a thriving transportation network. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across regional and national routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Primarily flatbed loads Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while managing logs and documentation accurately for compliance purposes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and address any route or delivery issues promptly Maintain a clean driving record and uphold the highest standards of safety throughout all operations Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmissions is preferred although we do have automatic option. Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery, route driving, and load & unload procedures Knowledge of flatbed work including tarping and securement. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or with equipment; capable of handling heavy or bulky items when necessary Flexibility to travel long distances over extended periods; willingness to work flexible schedules Embark on a rewarding career that keeps goods moving across the country!
