This vital role combines the responsibilities of operating heavy-duty dump trucks with the hands-on management of various construction equipment. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth project operations, transporting materials, and operating essential machinery to support our construction projects from start to finish. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across construction sites. Skillfully operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery. Assist with site preparation and cleanup by managing equipment like bulldozers and loaders to level ground and move materials efficiently. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely completion of project phases. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to OSHA standards at all times. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, equipment usage, and transportation records for project documentation. Qualifications Proven experience operating dump trucks and heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drills. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Hands-on experience working on construction sites with familiarity in excavation, paving, grading, or related activities. Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery or similar brands with confidence and precision. Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols.
