To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.
JOB SUMMARY
: Operate company truck to pick up and deliver hospital linen at multiple medical facilities. Load and unload laundry carts. Establish professional relationship with customers and provide quality customer service. Represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance while at customer locations. Safe operation of company vehicles, including pre and post route inspections. Maintain DOT compliance and follow hours of service rules. Follow standard vehicle operating procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
: Have excellent attendance Meet established route schedules Have good communication and customer service skills Follow all company safety rules Be able to work well with a diverse workforce Be able to follow directions given by their supervisor or manager Follow all company policies and procedures Possess and maintain a positive attitude Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies Deliver the product to our customers in a timely manner Be able to work past the schedule, as production/delivery issues may arise Ability to properly maintain required daily and weekly paperwork Perform a daily visual inspection of the equipment Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
: Cross-train on other routes per department needs Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
: Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels) Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling Valid Class A driver's license Must have clean driving record per company policy Have six months to one-year experience Be available to drive nights and weekends Ability to speak and read the English language Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day Be able to use repetitive arm motions Comprehensive Medical Plan with Prescription Coverage | Dental Plan | Vision Plan | Life Insurance | 401K Program with Company Match | Paid Holidays | Paid Time Off Company | Tuition Reimbursement
