Job Description

Independent Delivery Driver / Courier (Local Retail Routes) Position Summary We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Independent Delivery Drivers to manage dedicated local retail delivery routes originating from local Walmart stores in Mansfield, Marietta, and New Philadelphia, OH. You will pick up pre-staged customer orders and provide door-to-door deliveries directly to residential and business locations within the local delivery territory. All routes are 100% local, no overnight routes, no long-haul driving, and no out-of-state travel.

New Philadelphia, OH Shift Start Time:

2:00 PM daily afternoon dispatch

Pay Rate:

$250 flat daily rate

Net 14 payout terms

Classification:

1099 Independent Contractor Key Responsibilities Arrive promptly at the designated Walmart store location for 2:00 PM dispatch. Verify, scan, and load pre-packaged retail orders safely into your vehicle. Follow optimized multi-stop GPS routes using your smartphone. Complete door-to-door deliveries safely and professionally at customer porches, doorsteps, or designated entryways. Confirm delivery completions in real time using the mobile app (capturing photos, notes, or customer signatures as requested).

Requirements & Qualifications Vehicle:

Reliable personal cargo van, large SUV, or covered delivery vehicle capable of handling bulk retail packages.

Driver's License:

Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable motor vehicle record (MVR).

Smart Device:

Modern smartphone (iOS or Android) with an active data plan for routing and order scanning.

Physical Capability:

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs directly to customer doors, including walking up stairs.

Professionalism:

Punctual, dependable, and committed to excellent customer service.

Must pass a standard criminal background check and driving record review.
