Job Overview:
Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver Charles Construction Services is actively seeking a skilled Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our dedicated team of construction professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service. This job would allow you to be home every night!
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class A CDL dump truck to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt to and from job sites. Adhere to all traffic laws and DOT regulations while driving. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment. Communicate effectively with the project manager and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Experience driving a dump truck or similar vehicle. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols related to commercial driving. Ability to read and interpret maps and delivery instructions. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and manipulate heavy materials. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Reliable transportation to and from work.
