Job Description

Mack Industries is seeking experienced Ready Mix Drivers to join our growing team. This is a full-time, year-round position offering competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to be home every night. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will safely deliver concrete to customer job sites while providing excellent service and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Starting pay:

Essential Functions:
Hauling and unloading of ready-mix concrete Assembles concrete chute and attaches chute to the back of the truck Controls appropriate levers and switches on the truck to discharge concrete according to contractor specifications Complete daily driver's concrete vehicle inspection report and mileage logs Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, document and communicate required maintenance Able to transport materials safely to their destination Perform daily cleaning and washing of vehicle, including but not limited to removal of concrete buildup on all interior and exterior parts of the mixer Follow company policies on the use and wear of standard PPE while loading/unloading (hard hat, safety vest, safety toe boots, and safety glasses) Adhere to all federal and state regulations Adhere to company policies and procedures including but not limited to driving and attendance Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes and shift time changes Ability to transport material with attention to detail and emphasis to safety Assist in other areas as needed
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of
DOT & CDL
regulations Construction site safety including concrete material handling and basic equipment maintenance Knowledge of construction vehicle safety concepts such as vehicle and road weight capacities
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age CDL A or B with no restrictions Manual Endorsement required Valid Driver's License with clean driving record Strong written and verbal communication skills Due to the nature of the job duties and federal regulations, this position will require an applicant to submit further employment and driving history prior to interviewing and/or offer of employment.
Environment Conditions and Physical Strain:
Construction environment, seasonal weather conditions Due to the nature of the operation, the levels of noise, dust and dirt can be high.
