Company Overview MAD JIM INC, We take pride in providing professional driving opportunities that keep goods moving smoothly across regions and a strong FAMILY enviroment Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Driver for a dedicated run from Aurora, Ohio to Erie area hauling general freight with both drop and hook and live load at shipper and receiver. This role offers a consistent schedule, focusing on route driving and freight delivery using 53' van trailer and day cab tractors(10 spd) If you're passionate about safe, timely deliveries and enjoy working independently, this is the perfect opportunity to join our team! Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers with manual and automatic transmission, ensuring safe handling throughout the route Load and unload freight efficiently at designated stops and properly secure loads. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during route driving Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any route adjustments Experience Proven truck driving experience with a focus on commercial driving routes Familiarity with freight types including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Skilled in load & unload procedures that follow our as well as the customers safety policies. Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred Knowledge of route planning and delivery best practices for efficiency and safety Prior delivery driver experience in freight or logistics environments highly desirable Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in freight transportation! where your skills will directly contribute to our success.
