Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong work ethic.Duties:
- Safely operate a CMV
- Transport goods and materials over short or long distances
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment
- Follow specific routes and time schedules for deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Be the face of the company on the jobsite
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B MInimum
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of route driving and freight transportation
- Experience with loading and unloading cargo using a piggyback forklift (1 year experience preferred
