What You'll Do As a Trailer Jockey , you'll keep materials and equipment moving safely and efficiently across the facility: Move trailers and manage material flow between warehouse and production areas Ensure seamless logistics operations across the plant Maintain accurate records of trailers, including part numbers, quantities, and lot details Perform daily truck inspections and report any issues before operation Ensure trucks are fueled and ready for use Accurately complete and manage required paperwork Assist with material handling tasks as needed ️ Equipment & Operations Operate a day cab truck and yard spotter ( Class A CDL required ) Read and interpret Bills of Lading (BOL) for inbound and outbound shipments Safely operate a sit-down electric forklift (certification provided on Day 1) Learn and operate various warehouse equipment including: Hand jacks, drum dollies, clamp trucks Scissor lifts, powered hoists, floor scrubbers Safety cage setups Requirements ✅ What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Ability to read pick lists and use electronic inventory systems Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions from multiple team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information with discretion What Sets You Apart Strong work ethic and reliability Safety-first mindset Ability to work independently while supporting team goals Flexibility and willingness to assist in multiple areas Benefits Benefits That Support You Medical, dental, and prescription coverage FREE company-paid life insurance and disability coverage 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation and company holidays Tuition reimbursement and career growth opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family Fitness and mobile plan discounts Interview Requirement Candidates must be available for an in-person, on-site interview .
