Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely towing, recovering, and transporting vehicles across various locations. Your mechanical expertise and customer service skills will ensure that every tow is handled efficiently, professionally, and with the utmost safety. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles safely. Perform basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before towing. Securely load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct vehicle recovery towing in various scenarios, including accident scenes or breakdowns, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and incident reports for record-keeping purposes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Follow all safety guidelines related to driving, cargo securement protocols, and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Proven experience operating tow trucks or commercial trucks with manual transmissions. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and minor mechanical vehicle repairs. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques. Demonstrated ability to drive safely under various conditions while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Experience in conflict management, handling stressful situations calmly and professionally. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols to ensure safe transportation of vehicles. Prior customer service experience preferred; excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with clients effectively. Pay:
$1,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
