Position Overview KN Excavation is looking for a dependable, hardworking VAC Truck Driver/Operator to join our team. Our VAC trucks are used for hydro excavation, utility work, potholing, daylighting, and other excavation-related services. No VAC truck experience? No problem! We are willing to train the right person who has a good work ethic and is willing to learn. Requirements Valid Class B CDL required Tanker Endorsement required Clean driving record Must be dependable and safety-minded Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Construction experience is a plus, but not required VAC truck experience is a plus, but we will train the right person Must be comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work Must be able to follow directions and safely operate equipment Job Duties Safely operate VAC trucks and related equipment Assist with hydro excavation and utility excavation Perform potholing/daylighting of underground utilities Load, transport, and dispose of materials as required Perform daily truck and equipment inspections Maintain required DOT paperwork and daily logs Keep equipment clean and properly maintained Work safely around excavation sites, utilities, and other construction equipment Assist the crew with general labor and jobsite duties when needed What We're Looking For We don't necessarily need someone who already knows how to run a VAC truck.
