Job Details:

1st
Hours:
7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 7 a.m. - 12 p.m. Friday Climate-controlled facility, new flat-bed truck and box truck
Responsibilities:
Deliver orders to various customers/vendors by driving truck to designated destination. Candidate will apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the area according to state law. Pack all outgoing shipments for safe and secure loads Verify load and piece count against shipping documents Inspect and sign for incoming parts/material. Check for condition and correct quantity Load/unload trucks & operate forklift Maintain excellent housekeeping standards Coordinate scrap material out of production to designated areas Ensure that the vehicles are always fueled and ready for use Work with shipping team to facilitate vehicle repairs as needed on all vehicles as well as keeping vehicles clean Computer skills (ERP systems / Microsoft Office) a plus
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with no points Forklift / Tow Motor experience is a must Previous driving experience minimum 3-5 years+ Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo, as well as tying down materials with solid straps safely and securely. Safety is top priority. Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule Warehouse Experience - previous shipping/receiving experience a plus. Customer Service - able to communicate effectively verbally or in writing Functional understanding of GPS Driver must have experience with driving different vehicles (Box truck/Flat Bed)
