Job Summary Crucial Link is hiring a dependable Full-Time Driver / Production Support Associate for a manufacturing company in the Wadsworth area. The furthest delivery location is approx. 110 miles or 2 hours from Wadsworth. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity starting at $17.00/hr as a training wage , with the opportunity to be hired directly by the company based on performance, attendance, and reliability. Once hired on (approx. 90 days) the employee is eligible for benefits, raises, and bonuses. The Driver will report to the Shipping Manager and handle local deliveries and pickups as needed. When not driving, this individual will assist with shipping preparation and general production work on the manufacturing floor. Responsibilities Make local deliveries and pickups as needed Safely load and unload materials and products Wrap, band, and prepare skids for shipment Use a smartphone for calls, communication, and GPS navigation Assist on the production floor when not making deliveries Follow all company safety policies and procedures Maintain safe and responsible driving practices Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers Maintain excellent attendance and dependability Qualifications Valid driver's license required Clean driving record for the past 3-5 years Ability to safely operate a company vehicle Comfortable using a smartphone and GPS Reliable transportation to and from work Excellent attendance and dependability Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Detail-oriented and safety-conscious Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to assist with production duties when not driving
