Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for someone who wants a career not just another job. G.A. Wintzer and Son Co. is located in Wapakoneta Ohio. We are very stable, growing, family owned and operated company that has been in business for 179 years manufacturing animal feed and green diesel fuel ingredients. G.A. Wintzer is a not a corporate giant where you are just a number. We know that our employees are our greatest asset and we work hard to treat them that way, the way they want and deserve to be treated. You are NOT required to have a CDL to become a Wintzer Driver. Once employed, we will provide the necessary training for you to obtain a Class "A" CDL. Our Drivers run a multitude of different routes and drive a variety of different trucks in our private fleet. We have small straight trucks up to class 8's with 53' trailers. You will be driving all the trucks in our fleet at some point in time, depending on your daily schedule. Each day is different and our routes are all scheduled for day shift. Our Drivers service customers during the day and return to the processing plant in Wapakoneta when complete. As the driver picks up the material from our suppliers, they record some basic data (weights, amounts, issues, repair needs) on a custom app on a company provided tablet.
