In this position, you'll be the backbone of our logistics operations, responsible for safely transporting freight, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving and route management will ensure timely deliveries and exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, box trucks, across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport. Navigate using GPS systems to optimize delivery routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently. Deliver freight accurately to designated locations while providing excellent customer service during drop-offs and pickups. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and Regular DL (For Box truck) Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route management. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently as a plus. Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and adjustments. Strong manual handling skills for load & unload procedures and logistics cargo handling. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
