Tow Truck Operator

Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized equipment, to recover and transport vehicles. Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach. Load and unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate tools such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring safety at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during vehicle pickup or drop-off, addressing concerns professionally. Assist with automotive repairs or minor mechanical troubleshooting when necessary to facilitate vehicle recovery. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and incident reports for record-keeping and compliance purposes. Manage conflict situations effectively with customers or team members to ensure smooth operations and positive interactions. Must be able to be on call at least one weekend per month. Need to live within a 20 minute radius of the garage Required to have at least 2 years of towing experience. Skills Proficiency in operating tow trucks, flatbeds, and other related equipment safely. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; experience in commercial driving preferred. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills to assist clients effectively.

Pay:
