Job Description
Overview Join our highly experienced team as a CDL Rolloff Driver and take charge of safely operating specialized trucks to manage rolloff loads efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including front loader, roll-off, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers. As a vital part of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading materials while ensuring safety and compliance on every route. What You Will Do Safely operate different types of commercial trucks such as roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport roloff /dumpster waste Load and unload materials using mechanical knowledge of truck systems and attachments like front loaders or roll-off containers, including 30 and 60 yard dumpsters, front-load dumsters, and setting and picking-up conexes. No Residential collection. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Drive efficiently through designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to loading or unloading materials manually or with mechanical aids. Maintain accurate route documentation and safety documentation throughout each shift. Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments. perform any duties or functions asked of you by your dispatcher or supervisor, including duties outside of any implied route assumed as your route. (We are a team--and we help one another when needed.) Skills You Must Have (or Be Capable of Learning) Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on heavy-duty trucks such as roll-off, dump, or semitractor-trailer vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems, hydraulic lifts, and attachments used in waste management operations. Skilled in operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, flatbeds, and manual transmission vehicles safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently while maintaining safety standards. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; familiarity with manual transmissions Knowledge of load & unload procedures for various container types including roll-off containers and dump trucks.
