ABOUT THE
ROLEAs a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and on time, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of your vehicle, and providing exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys being behind the wheel and working independently. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESFully understand how to operate and safely drive assigned vehicleTransport goods from a place of origin to assigned destinationPick-up loads and organize load in an ordered, logical mannerEnsure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damageSafely and efficiently handle and unload goods from a truck at selected destinationsObtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries with clientsAssist warehouse staff and customers with loading and unloading processesMap deliveries to ensure efficient routes and timely deliveriesConfirm contents of each shipment load matches BOL documentPerform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each tripAlways ensure your vehicle is kept cleanMaintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encounteredAdhere to company rules and regulationsObey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditionsComply with ICC and DOT regulationsMake safety a priority at all timesWHAT WERE LOOKING
FORValid driver's license and Commercial Drivers License (CDL).Previous experience driving a large company truckClean driving record with no moving violationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as part of loading and unloading dutiesProficient in using navigation systemsStrong sense of direction and ability to plan efficient routes.Detail-oriented, focused, and committed to safety.
