Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking motivated and experienced Log Truck Drivers to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting logs from forest sites to processing facilities, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and take pride in delivering quality service, this is an exciting opportunity for both seasoned drivers and new CDL holders looking to start their CDL driving careers. Duties Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission, ensuring smooth and safe driving on various routes. Load and unload logs using appropriate equipment, adhering to safety protocols and load securement standards. Navigate designated routes efficiently while managing delivery schedules and maintaining communication with dispatch teams. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, and delivery documentation. Follow all federal and state transportation regulations to ensure compliance during all aspects of freight delivery.
