Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become the essential link in vehicle recovery and roadside assistance. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and heavy-duty models, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before towing. Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Assist with vehicle recovery towing in various scenarios such as accidents, breakdowns, or illegal parking enforcement. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services professionally, and ensuring a positive experience. Load and unload vehicles carefully using manual techniques or mechanical aids while adhering to safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and service reports for operational transparency. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred. Proven experience in automotive repair, minor mechanical work, or vehicle diagnostics is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics for trucks and cars alike. Familiarity with flatbed tow trucks and vehicle recovery towing techniques. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading procedures on tow trucks. Ability to handle conflict management situations professionally while maintaining composure under pressure. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, including manual transmission operation when necessary. Able to opreate a phone and computer Physical ability to load/unload vehicles manually or using mechanical equipment; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
