Siteline is currently opening CDL schools across the country. Join our dynamic team as an experienced Class A CDL Instructor in Troutdale. In this energetic and impactful position, you will leverage your extensive leadership and commercial driving experience to educate aspiring drivers, ensuring they develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to excel on the road. Your expertise will help foster safe, responsible, and skilled drivers who meet industry standards and company expectations. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to share your passion for trucking while making a lasting difference in students' careers. Duties Conduct hands-on driving lessons in various truck configurations, including tractor-trailers, to develop students' practical skills. Assess student performance continuously, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement and confidence. Prepare and evaluate training materials aligned with industry regulations and company standards. Ensure all training activities adhere to federal and state commercial driving regulations, including safety procedures for air brake and tanker endorsements. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and certification documentation. Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their CDL licensing goals. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license. Strong knowledge of air brake systems, tanker operations, and tractor-trailer safety standards. Prior experience with a focus on teaching or training adult learners. Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts and instructions. Ability to demonstrate safe driving techniques and conduct practical assessments confidently. Familiarity with federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations related to commercial driving.
