Class A CDL Tractor Trailer Driver
ROGUE WASTE SYSTEMS, INC.

Location:
Dry Creek Landfill/ Rogue Transfer & Recycling (RTR) Work schedule : Scheduled work is 4/10s. Monday - Saturday. Work days may not be consecutive. (Additional work required as needed.) .
Starting Pay:
$29.00-$31.00/hr

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Class A CDL tractor trailer driver you will complete routine trips between the transfer station and tipper platform area at Dry Creek Landfill with a 53ft trailer. This position requires you to adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures at multiple safety sensitive sites, as well as perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. .
Drug and alcohol testing:
Subject to pre-employment drug testing and random selection drug and alcohol testing per DOT requirements and Company policy. .
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes Endorsement (Required) Must be able to operate both Manual & Automatic transmission vehicles . Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English. Minimum 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Basic knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre- and post-trip inspections. .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to safely operate a Class A Tractor Trailer Truck. Waste experience preferred , but not required. Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers. Operate hydraulic hand controls to unload refuse and dispose of trash at Dry Creek Landfill. .
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
Requires physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. Work environment involves exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions. The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate. .
