Job Description
Job Summary New-Gen Trucking & Excavation LLC is looking to hire an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded driver who has experience operating heavy dump trucks and is comfortable working on construction, excavation, paving, and hauling projects. Job Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks to haul dirt, rock, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials. Operate a truck equipped with an 18-speed manual transmission . Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Keep assigned truck clean and report any mechanical or safety issues promptly. Safely enter and exit construction sites, paving projects, and material facilities. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety requirements. Maintain professional communication with contractors, dispatchers, equipment operators, and other drivers. Complete required trucking tickets and daily paperwork accurately. Requirements Valid Class A CDL. Previous dump truck driving experience required. Must be experienced and comfortable driving an 18-speed manual transmission . Must have a good driving record . Must be able to pass a drug screen . Must have and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card . Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work safely with minimal supervision. Must be willing to work varying hours depending on project schedules. Work Location & Schedule Work is primarily performed on construction, excavation, paving, and hauling projects throughout the Portland Metro and surrounding areas . Schedule and start times will vary depending on project needs. Applicants must be willing to work early mornings and varying daily hours as required by the job.
