Job Overview Local Builders Supply Business serving the area for over 85 years! Join our dynamic team as a Builders Supply Yard Laborer and become a vital part of our construction and building materials supply operation! This paid position offers a steady opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in building supplies, heavy equipment handling, construction materials and retail while working in a hands-on environment that values safety and teamwork. Responsibilities Load dump trucks, pickup trucks and trailers with Front Loader. (
Examples:
Stone, Sand, Topsoil, Cold Patch, Mulch) Help Customers Locate Items Some Lifting/Loading by hand/helping older customers load their vehicles (
Examples:
Bagged Lime, Block, Pipe, Grass Seed, Etc) Checkout (Look Up Prices, Write Slips, Process Credit Cards/Cash Register Answer Yard Phone Calls (
Examples:
Questions on Hours, Prices, Taking Delivery Orders) Misc Yard Work (
Examples:
Sweeping, Weed Eating & Spraying, Washing Vehicles, Ensuring Proper Storage of Supplies, Keeping Yard Organized, Etc) Collaborate with team members on order picking, load & unload tasks, and scheduling deliveries. Qualifications Must Have Prior Experience Using Front Loader Machines (

CAT 906H2
will be the main machine you will be using) Prior experience in Construction or Builders Supply Materials. Plumbing/Pipe or Fitting knowledge a Plus! Strong physical ability for heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and periods of standing or walking in all weather conditions. Driver's License Must Be Reliable (Not for Job Hoppers or No-Shows) Long Term, Steady Work Available All Year Long Full Time M-F, No Overtime or Weekends. Laid back, social environment Refrigerator/freezer and microwave on site $15-$17/hr commensurate with experience, knowledge Call or stop in! W.W.
