Job Description
Looking for Full-time and Part-time Drivers. The primary purpose of the Driver is to drive facility vehicle to transport residents and staff to desired destinations. Provides assistance/escort for residents to and from doctor/hospital appointments. As a Driver you are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for our residents, families, co-workers, visitors and all others. Education & Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred. Must be at least 25 or older to drive our company vehicles.
- Valid, unencumbered state driver's license.
- A physical examination and/or evidence from a physician indicating freedom of communicable disease to be available upon employment.
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Effectively communicates with others. Experience
- 1-2 years transportation experience preferred.
- Previous long-term care experience is desirable.
- Must have experience transporting and transferring residents or patients with physical impairments using facility equipment.
