Building Material Delivery Driver/Yard Worker (full-time)

Summary:

The Building Material Delivery Driver/Yard Worker is responsible for delivering building material products and supplies to customers, job sites, or other company locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

: Drives specified non-CDL trucks (and CDL trucks as needed if licensed) to customer destinations Maintains the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time Follows any special instructions pertaining to an individual order Maintains inventory stock in the yard in a safe and orderly manner when not on the road Reports any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks, and reports discrepancies to supervisor Assists in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently Processes returns accurately Presents a neat and professional image Assists in keeping facility secure Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required

Seasonal Requirement:

Assists with snow removal Other duties may be assigned Education and/or

Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent Must have a current valid medical certification Must be a safe driver and have a clean driving record CDL A or B desired but not required A.D. Moyer Lumber benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, employee discounts, 401K and profit sharing.
