Job Description
Summary:
The Aureus Group is hiring a Transporter to help increase the number of lives we can impact by helping us Repair the Repair® Process. At The Aureus Group, it's not about fixing cars…it's about fixing the way we fix cars. What makes us special, though, is the way we operate and where we are going; read about it here: As the Transporter, your role is simple: move vehicles into, out of, and between The Aureus Group locations. This position does NOT entail on-call police towing.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Represent The Aureus Group well with a clean and neat appearance, courteous interactions with clients, and safe driving.
- Responsible for attaching the disabled vehicle to the tow truck. Depending on the tow truck, this may include using a chain, winch, steering locks, and other devices as well as affixing lights onto the towed vehicle.
- Transport vehicles from tow yards and client locations to the repair shops and vice versa.
- Transport vehicles between repair shops for the purposes of 'load leveling' repairs.
- Inspect tow trucks daily and perform maintenance as needed. Schedule major maintenance with approved vendors.
- Keep equipment clean and well maintained.
- Properly track and document activity log.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Contribute ideas and participate in ongoing improvement efforts.

- Must be able to work at all 4 locations: Kennett Square, Zieglerville, Media and Brookhaven.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License, clear criminal background, and a record of safe driving.
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Basic mechanical skills.
