BOX TRUCK delivery - OTR DRIVER / CDL OR NON CDL

You'll operate a box truck, load and unload cargo, and navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck, including manual transmission models, along designated delivery routes. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or liftgate, ensuring proper handling and secure placement. Deliver goods to customers and clients promptly, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction. Verify delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and document all deliveries accurately. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the truck to uphold operational efficiency. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries. Requirements Valid driver's license; CDL or non-CDL roles. Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in warehouse logistics involving heavy lifting and moving cargo. Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual tasks related to cargo handling. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance practices. Flexibility to work varied hours and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
