Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles to transport freight across various routes Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle condition in compliance with federal regulations Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly Assist with route planning to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency while ensuring compliance with load specifications Skills Valid CDL A license with clean driving record and experience operating tractor-trailers Proficiency in driving manual transmission trucks and handling various trailer types such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, or roll-off trucks Experience with freight load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation operations Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Strong route driving skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and schedules Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, customers, and team members Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver and become an essential part of our logistics network!
