Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License A Regional Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated regions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, while ensuring timely load and unload operations. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across regional routes, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, managing various cargo types including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other freight. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while adapting to traffic conditions or route changes. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspections in accordance with federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, load status, or any issues encountered on the road. Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or tankers to ensure safe transport throughout the journey. Skills Valid CDL A license with at least 6 months experience operating manual transmission trucks. Proven driving experience in regional deliveries, including freight handling and route driving. Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods when necessary. Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance. Excellent navigation skills for planning optimal routes across diverse regional areas. Physical ability to handle cargo loading tasks and perform vehicle inspections regularly.
