We're hiring full-time Class B Tri-Axle Drivers to haul coal, stone, and other material between active mine sites, our preparation plant, and customer locations across central Pennsylvania. Our drivers are paid by the hour — not by percentage of load or truck revenue — and everybody is home every night.

IS THIS YOU?

This is hauling in and out of active mine sites. POSITION OVERVIEW

Tri-Axle Drivers haul material between RES Coal's mine sites, the preparation plant, and customer locations. Most of it is coal, with stone and other material as needed. Routes run primarily in Clearfield, Centre, Armstrong, and Cambria Counties. Our truck shop manager dispatches the fleet, so your routes are planned before you roll out. You are expected to run them safely, efficiently, and professionally while taking care of your assigned truck. The operation currently runs day shift; night work is uncommon but may be required as the business changes.

FLEET & EQUIPMENT

Primarily Peterbilt tri-axle trucks Maintained by in-house truck shop mechanics — drivers are not responsible for repairs Greased and serviced on scheduled intervals Same truck assigned to you day to day Your maintenance role is the pre-trip and post-trip, reporting concerns, and keeping the truck clean

A TYPICAL DAY

Report to the garage and your assigned truck Complete a thorough pre-trip inspection Run your dispatched route — mine sites, plant, and customers Operate safely on haul roads, plant property, and public highway Report equipment or safety issues to the truck shop right away Complete your post-trip inspection and paperwork

PAY & EARNINGS

What you'll actually earn: $71,140

• 79,350 / year $26.

31 per hour on our typical 48-52 hour week with overtime after 40 hours. Figure is before bonuses. We pay weekly. $20 per day route completion bonus for completing your assigned dispatch — roughly $5,000 a year on top Quarterly safety bonus for keeping a clean MVR Annual performance bonus based on company performance Five 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday; start times as early as 4:30 AM, all trucks running by 5:30 AM Occasional 12-hour shifts or Saturdays for train loadings or production needs — planned in advance whenever we can Extra shifts available when we haul to the power plants in Cambria County during backlog periods

Drivers have moved into equipment operation at the mines, into the preparation plant, and into maintenance on both the truck and heavy-equipment sides. None of those seats require a CDL upgrade.
