Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Deliver freight promptly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Manage route driving responsibilities with precision to optimize delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments or issues. Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record with 1 year experience. Experience with Manual. Prior delivery driver experience with a strong focus on freight handling and route driving. Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving operations. Experience driving in diverse environments including urban areas, highways, and rural routes.
