$2,000 Day in the Life You start your day with your own assigned tractor — no slip seating — conducting a thorough pre-trip inspection before rolling out on regional routes. Most nights, you're back home after delivering mattresses and sleep products that help people live healthier lives. At each stop, you'll tailgate mid-weight freight using cart assistance, provide courteous service, and keep schedules on track. Throughout the day you stay in close contact with dispatch and customers, complete post-trip inspections, and uphold every DOT and SSB safety standard. The miles are consistent, the work is steady, and your impact is felt by every sleeper we serve. What You'll Do Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle on assigned regional routes Deliver on time while providing excellent customer service Perform pre- and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies Highlights One assigned truck — no slip seating Regional lanes with most nights home Partial-touch freight with tailgating and cart assistance Predictable mileage and steady work volume What You'll Bring Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record 2+ years of verifiable CDL-A experience (or 1 year with a certified training program) 21+ years of age and DOT qualified Ability to tailgate and handle mid-weight freight with cart assistance Strong time management and customer service skills Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Requirements Must meet all DOT requirements Proficiencies DOT medical certification Truck operations and load securement Current CDL license DOT and equipment inspection compliance Why Serta Simmons Bedding We're shaping the future of sleep — and your driving helps deliver it.
