Job Description

Overview Join our team as a tri-axle dump truck driver. We are looking for a skilled driver who can handle this physically demanding role that combines heavy vehicle operation, material handling, and site coordination, requiring a valid CDL, safety-conscious habits, and the ability to work in challenging conditions. Duties Operating the vehicle : Drive a tri-axle dump truck to deliver materials to specified locations, often in tight or uneven terrain. Pre- and post-trip inspections : Check brakes, lights, fluids, and overall roadworthiness to ensure DOT compliance.
Compliance :
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Record keeping : Maintain logs of deliveries, including times, locations, and materials transported.
Maintenance :
Perform routine checks (oil, fluids, tires) and assist with basic repairs.
Coordination :
Communicate with dispatchers, site foremen, and other team members to receive instructions and report progress. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with tri-axle trucks Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for trucking operations Skilled in manual handling techniques for loading/unloading freight safely and efficiently Proficient in route driving using GPS navigation systems for optimal delivery planning Ability to drive manual transmission trucks confidently Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits and adherence to all traffic laws Embark on a career where your driving expertise makes a real impact! Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
