Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a safety-focused Regional Class B Driver to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials across assigned routes. In this role, you'll operate Class B vehicles, complete required manifests and logs, and ensure DOT, OSHA, and environmental compliance at all times. You will perform routine vehicle inspections, support loading/unloading activities, and interact professionally with customers. Responsibilities Safely operate Class B trucks on regional routes Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials per DOT and company standards Complete manifests, driver logs, and regulatory documentation accurately Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Assist with safe loading and unloading of drums, bulk liquids, and industrial waste Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations and company safety policies Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel Respond to schedule changes, route adjustments, and occasional emergency service needs Maintain clean, organized vehicles and equipment Represent Clean Harbors with professionalism and strong customer service Required Skills Class B CDL with air brake endorsement Safe commercial driving and maneuvering Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS rules Hazardous materials handling and securement Tanker and/or hazmat endorsement operation Electronic logging devices (ELD) use Vehicle inspection and basic preventive maintenance Load securement (straps, chains, binders) Documentation and manifest completion Customer service and professional communication
