WORK WEEKS

This driver requires trips to New York, NJ, and Baltimore Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

!! Responsibilities and Duties Inspects truck before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition. Gathers information on details of route and delivery load for each day from all relevant sources. Drive tractor-trailer combination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver general commodities. Maneuver truck into loading or unloading position, following signals from unloading crew as needed; ensures trailer restraints are in use/in place Maintains driver log according to regulations; documenting/recording information by entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written and/or electronic form. Monitor oil, fuel, and radiator fluid to maintain tractor-trailer. Maintain proper air pressure in tires and confirm all lights are functioning properly. Performing Administrative Activities task such as maintaining information files, inspection sheets, log sheets, bill-of-ladings, purchase orders, etc. Make sure load is secure by utilizing load bars. Ensure compliance with SQF policies/procedures and documentation requirements as relates to vehicles. Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary. Responsible for Minor Preventative Maintenance Responsible for keeping truck and trailer clean Qualifications and Skills Minimum two years' experience in an OTR truck driving role or related capacity and CDL are required Clean Driving Record Operation and Control-Controlling operations of equipment or systems Ability to solve mathematical problems Ability to comprehend written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents Empire Kosher reserves the right to change or withdraw this posting at any time.
