Job Description
Hot Shot Driver Description:
We are seeking qualified Hot Shot and tractor Flatbed Drivers for our expanding fleet. You must have a valid Class A CDL! Our experienced drivers earn up to 29% of the load. Starting 90-day percentage is 25%. After a 90-day probation period, employees are evaluated and are eligible for a pay rate of up to 26%. Every 6 months after, each employee is evaluated and eligible for a pay raise of 1% up to 29%. Drivers are paid weekly. Our fleet consists of Dodge Ram 4500 and 5500 trucks (2013+ model years) along with Kenworth, International, and Freightliner tractors. Our trailers are 2013+ model PJ Trailers (straight flat decks) and various types of open-deck 48' and 53' trailers. We pride ourselves in getting drivers the equipment and resources needed to enjoy their job and bring home a good paycheck. We work with our drivers for home time. Ground Shaker Transport has a sister company that ensures the maintenance and minimal downtime of our fleet vehicles.Responsibilities:
Keep all equipment clean and in presentable condition Each truck is assigned to one driver There is minimal slip seating Hook and unhook trailers and secure loads properly Loads requiring overnight stay in hotel is covered by company Ability to drive in different weather and road conditions Presentable appearance when coming to work Ability to pre-trip and post-trip vehicle/trailer to ensure safety and keep the maintenance division informed of repairs needed so they can be completed in a timely manner.
