Job Description
```Job Overview``` We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and providing exceptional service to our customers. This is a great opportunity for individuals with commercial driving experience who enjoy being on the road and interacting with people. ```Duties```
- Conduct Final Mile and Expedited deliveries.
- Work along side a driver helper ( when needed). Be able to work independently when needed to.
- Provide Excellent customer service
- Assist with final mile delivery and white glove assemblies as needed.
- Safely operate Box trucks / Sprinter vans / High Roof Cargo Vans
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items when needed.
- Provide white glove assembly of exercise equipment / Household Goods. Provide Lift gate / Dock to Dock deliveries.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient delivery of goods
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and courteously with customers
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving ''''Skills'''''
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with customers during deliveries
- Commercial driving experience, preferably in a delivery or courier role
- Familiarity with operating different types of vehicles, such as cargo vans/ Sprinter Vans.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and 150 pounds with equipment such as hand truck/ moving straps/ dollies
- Ability to safely use hand trucks/ dollies/ Pallet Jacks/ Basic tools
- Ability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures for handling and organizing goods
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members
