Job Description
Dashtrux is seeking a dependable and professional Box Truck Driver / Mover for local and regional delivery and moving assignments. This position combines driving with hands-on loading and unloading. The ideal candidate is a safe driver who is comfortable with physical work and interacting professionally with customers. Responsibilities Safely operate a company-provided 16-ft box truck Pick up and deliver furniture, household goods, equipment, and other cargo Load and unload the truck as part of regular job duties Properly secure and protect cargo during transportation Use dollies, hand trucks, straps, and other moving equipment Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Communicate professionally with customers at pickup and delivery locations Follow assigned routes, delivery instructions, traffic laws, and applicable DOT safety requirements Work independently or with an additional helper depending on the size of the job Keep the truck clean and report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly Requirements Valid driver's license Safe and acceptable driving record Comfortable driving a 16-ft box truck Previous box-truck, delivery, moving, furniture delivery, or similar experience preferred Able to safely perform the lifting and physical tasks required for deliveries and moving jobs Dependable, punctual, and professional Comfortable working a flexible schedule based on scheduled delivery jobs Must be able to pass any driving-record, background, or other screening required for the position SchedulePart-time with a flexible schedule. Hours may vary based on delivery and moving assignments. Opportunity for additional hours as business volume increases. Pay$22-$25 per hour, depending on experience. EquipmentDashtrux provides the box truck and necessary delivery/moving equipment. Employees are not required to use their personal vehicle to make deliveries.
