Must be able to lay out, and position work flow to ensure proper storage and distribution. Should be a good communicator to ensure all staff understands where materials and products are staged. Will be required to load and/or unload a truck. This individual will also be responsible for his/her safety and the safety of those around him/her. This will include a clean workstation before / during / after daily production. This will also include good personal hygiene in the event of customer contact.
Description Job Summary:
The Truck Driver / Material Handler is responsible for knowledge of the control and movement of materials and finished products in and out of the plant including their distribution points. The incumbent in this position is required to have knowledge of the workflow through the plant, have knowledge of DOT requirements as they pertain to the truck, and be qualified and certified to operate a forklift.Must be able to lay out, and position work flow to ensure proper storage and distribution. Should be a good communicator to ensure all staff understands where materials and products are staged. Will be required to load and/or unload a truck.
