Job Description

Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of trucks and trailers and providing light labor when needed to assist in construction and maintenance projects. This includes hauling machinery (excavators, skid loaders, rollers, dozers, etc.), hauling materials to our job sites, hauling soil and gravel to and from job sites as needed, and being able to load and strap down the equipment. If you have experience driving equipment such as dump trucks, tractor trailers, lowboys, and goosenecks, we encourage you to apply today. We are a petroleum contractor, so in short, we build gas stations. You will be the key to delivering our materials and equipment to the job site and keep projects on schedule. We also will expect you to labor when there is no driving to be done. You will always be on a crew with other guys when laboring. Duties
  • Operate a variety of trucks and trailers to haul equipment to job sites
  • Drive dump truck to haul soil and or gravel on or off the site
  • Load equipment and secure correctly and safely
  • Conduct routine maintenance on trucks and trailers to ensure proper functioning (we have a full-time mechanic to help with this)
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times
  • Jump in with crew to provide light labor when needed
  • Some examples of labor tasks: Use handheld saw to cut PVC pipe, thread stainless steel pipe, run product piping from dispensers to sumps, cut angle iron, use various tools to connect fittings and pipes from fiberglass to stainless steel, etc. Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Class A CDL driver
  • Valid and current Class A CDL with a clean driving record
  • Proficient in driving equipment such as dump trucks, tractor trailers, lowboys, and goosenecks
  • It's a plus if you have heavy hauled previously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Expected Hours:
40-45 per week
Benefits:
401(k) match after 1 yr, health insurance after 90 days, paid time off, off holidays-paid (at least 8 per year), sick time
Pay:
$25
  • 30 per hour heavily based on experience
Schedule:
Typically, Monday-Friday 6am to 2:30pm Occasional out of town work, Monday-Thursday (10+ hour days) home Thursday night
