Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Full Time Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time while providing excellent customer service. Your role is vital in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate load handling, and timely deliveries across designated routes. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during route driving. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Manage delivery schedules by following planned routes efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and communication. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, including verifying shipment contents and obtaining necessary signatures from customers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered during routes. Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their delivery needs and addressing any concerns professionally. Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience involving material handling equipment operation. Hands-on experience driving box trucks or commercial trucks with manual transmission is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, moving supplies, and adhering to safe manual handling practices. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation, weight handling in the workplace, and load securing procedures. Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication purposes. Prior experience with load & unload tasks using pallet jacks or similar equipment is advantageous. Strong commitment to safety standards and customer satisfaction in every delivery.
