is a locally based paving and excavating company serving communities in and around Sunbury, Pennsylvania. The company operates from its headquarters at 249 Walnut Street Sunbury PA, and supports residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Team members work with heavy equipment, trucks, and construction crews to deliver reliable site preparation and hauling services. Applicants can expect a hands-on work environment focused on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship. Role Description This full-time, CDL A Truck Driver role is based in Sunbury, PA. The driver will transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, following assigned routes and delivery schedules. Daily tasks include conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, safely operating trucks and related equipment, loading and unloading materials, and assisting crews as needed on paving and excavating projects. The role also involves maintaining accurate logs, complying with DOT and company safety regulations, and communicating effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and crew members. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and familiarity with DOT regulations. Experience operating commercial trucks and, ideally, dump trucks or equipment haulers in construction or similar environments. Strong commitment to safety, including conducting thorough vehicle inspections and following all site and road safety procedures. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as climbing in and out of trucks, securing loads, and assisting with materials on job sites. Reliable time management skills and the ability to follow schedules, directions, and company procedures without close supervision. Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with dispatch, forepersons, and field crews. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in paving, excavating, or construction is a plus. Willingness to work in outdoor conditions, adapt to changing job site needs, and support the team where needed.
Pay:
$28.50 - $34.32 per hour
