ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: Safely deliver freight to various Weis Markets retail locations in seven states including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, New York, Delaware, and New Jersey. Plan efficient routes to optimize time, fuel, and mileage. Perform pre operation inspections before departure and complete associated documentation. Assist in the unloading of freight and obtain manager on duty signature upon delivery. Secure freight prior to departure and monitor its safe distribution throughout the trip. Maintain tractor cleanliness standards by washing, cleaning, and vacuuming. Adhere to all federal, Department of Transportation (DOT), state, local, and Weis Markets rules and regulations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This associate has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Class A Commercial driver's license and 50,000 miles of driving experience. Weis Markets is an
