This position requires loading and unloading trailers, securing the contents of those trailers, driving them to a specified location, and working flexible hours. Individual must know DOT rules and regulations and complete the required paperwork in a timely way.Essential Duties:
Perform pre- and post-shift inspections Load trailer for transport and unload trailer after transport Secure trailer and the contents inside of it Drive truck to specified locations in a safe and efficient way Read and understand State permit processes Maintain a chain of communication with the Logistics Administrator and the customer when needed Complete proper paperwork in a timely manner
Secondary Duties:
Maintain a safe and clean overall work environment Perform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to travel for one to three nights at a time Excellent interpersonal skills Up-to-date knowledge of DOT rules and regulationEducation Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience Class A CDL Double, Triple, or Hazmat endorsements preferredExperience Requirements:
Three years of truck driving experience preferredPhysical Requirements:
