Transports residents from the campus to clinics, activity functions, doctor's offices, hospitals, shopping malls, etc. Assists residents in boarding/exiting vehicle as needed. Works a variable schedule as required for scheduled resident activities and emergency campus needs. Maintains log of pick up/delivery times to record activities performed. Always operates vehicles in a safe, alert manner. Maintains vehicles in good, clean operating order by regularly washing and refueling vehicle(s), performs pre-trip inspections and minor service tasks. Notifies supervisor of repairs needed for reliable vehicle operation. Completes all required education. May receives messages from various departments to pick up and deliver packages, supplies, and mail to be transported. May operates pallet jack and/or dolly. May work as receptionist/dispatcher as scheduled. May assist with security functions as assigned. May clear snow from sidewalks within 50 feet of main entrance. Education and/or Experience No education requirements. At least 1 year of experience. Must be 21 years of age. Computer Skills Basic computer skills needed. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Valid PA Driver's License. CPR/First Aid/AED, and Department of Human Services Direct Care training (if not certified when hired, must complete during orientation period).
