Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our delivery operations, ensuring timely and safe transportation of freight across various routes. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and vehicle operation will help us deliver exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a fast-paced logistics environment that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Duties Safely operate trucks with manual transmission, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as dunnage, chains, and tarps when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Follow designated routes for delivery and pickup, adhering to schedules and traffic laws Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and mileage logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues promptly Routes usually range from PA-OH, OH-PA, PA-NY, NY-PA, etc Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license (2 years experience preferred) Proficiency in driving manual transmission trucks and operating various types of specialized vehicles such as flatbeds, low-boy RGN, box trucks, etc. Strong knowledge of route planning and route driving techniques for efficient deliveries Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations Experience with freight handling, including securing loads on different truck types Familiarity with truck maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting skills Join our team as a CDL Driver and be part of a company that values your expertise!
