Job Overview Are you a seasoned CDL owner-operator with a passion for driving and delivering reliable freight? We are seeking motivated CDL Dry Van Owners to join our dynamic team! This role offers the opportunity to operate well-maintained tractor-trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes, specializing in dry van freight transportation. As a key player in our logistics network, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, managing delivery schedules, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. What you'll do Operate tractor-trailers equipped with dry van trailers across designated OTR routes, ensuring timely deliveries of freight Safely load and unload cargo, adhering to proper manual handling procedures and cargo handling standards Navigate using GPS systems and plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Manage transportation of various freight types, including hazardous materials (Hazmat), dangerous goods, and specialized loads such as refrigerated trailers or flatbeds when applicable Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records in line with trucking regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route status, delays, or issues encountered during transit Requirements Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements for dry van operations; experience with refrigerated trailers or tanker loads is a plus Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including load & unload procedures and freight handling Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software for efficient OTR driving routes Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Experience with manual transmission trucks and manual handling of cargo preferred Delivery driver experience in logistics cargo handling or freight transportation is highly desirable Ability to operate tractor-trailers safely over long distances while maintaining high safety standards Join us as a CDL Dry Van Owner-Operator and take control of your driving career! $2,134.40 - $15,000.00 per week
