Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, assisting customers in distress, and ensuring that all towing operations are conducted efficiently and professionally. Duties Operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbed and manual transmission vehicles, to transport disabled, improperly parked, and accident vehicles. Perform vehicle diagnostics and basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure safe towing operations. Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Manage conflicts professionally while assisting customers in stressful situations. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on towing equipment to ensure reliability and safety. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including vehicle condition reports and towing documentation. Requirements Smart phone for digital dispatching. Willing to learn and grow. Strong conflict management skills to handle various customer interactions effectively. Experience with load unloading procedures for safe vehicle transport. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Valid FL License. Experience operating flatbed tow trucks and familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
